Brakes MC Diagrams - which line is which?
« on: April 05, 2020, 09:40:22 PM »
I have a 1995 HD.  So my question is does the front line (the one closest to the radiator) off the master cylinder supply the front or rear breaks?  The front line on mine is 3/16 and the rear one is 1/4".  The reason I ask is because Im swapping to axles into a 1950 Mack A model and Im just running a regular disc/disc proportioning valve - not the abs module. Every other regular chevy truck I have the front is 1/4" and supplies the rear.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

My 95 is plumbed that way...smaller line to front brakes...rear larger line to the rear axle.

Thanks.  I thought I was crazy, or someone redid the lines wrong. So you do have  the rear line of the MC going to rear breaks?
