Diff Cover
« on: April 26, 2020, 08:16:10 PM »
By chance does anyone have a part number for the diff cover?  Or know where I can get one?  I had a flake of rust pop off and now is leaking.

Thanks!

I bought Dana 80 cover on eBay that was chrome and less expensive than a stock one.

Just go to Rockauto and search the C3500 section and look for Dana 80 covers - if that's what is in the truck.

example: ACDELCO 15634024

There is a factory aluminum one too. I think the part number is 2013834. They are about $100.

Does it have a 11.5" ring gear or 13"?

91 and some 92 models have a Rockwell C103, every year after that is a Dana 80. Rockwell has a drop out 3rd member similar to a 9" Ford.

Very nice!  Cheap for that part.  Finned for heat dissipation, too.  Appears to be a genuine Spicer part, not some aftermarket funk.
