Title: Rear spring / shackle / bushing

Hopefully this dosnt post twice lol

Stripping down the 95 HD  on the rear springs . The 24 mm headed bolt on shackle to frame  part the bolt is really stuck in the bushing any sugestions for removing ? If i need to cut the bolt off are the shackle bushings same as reg One ton  they look close .

The part listing says it is for a HD - thats good.  I know that rubber doesn't like heat ...but heating the bolt head and hitting the bushing area with penetrating oil might help get it loose.

Those are never fun to remove. I have approached them in many ways. If you don’t want to heat them, drill all the rubber out and then collapse the outer sleeve with a punch or make two cuts in it with a sawzall after removing the rubber portion.

Napa is another resource to check as their vehicle selector does differentiate between the 3500 and 3500HD, at least it used to; it's been a while since I've had to check anything there.  The leaf springs on the HD are wider than the regular 3500 so I'd say the bushings do not swap between models.
